I RAN! Thankful Things Thursday, RANDOMS

Thankful Things Thursday.
Today was the first day back running in 3 weeks for me. YAYAYAYAYA!
Was it tough? YES
Could I breathe? NO
Did I run the entire 5 miles? NO
BUT, it was one of the best runs i have had in a long time. WHY?
Because it was PAIN FREE, BAMMMMM!

I am bound and determined to kick this ITBS and the lack of cartilage I have in my back!
Enough said!
1. I am THANKFUL I can run again. This is me smiling after finishing my set goal of 5 miles. 3 weeks ago I was crying, lol. I am so excited to be getting better so that I can attend the Runners World Half Marathon Weekend with Fit Fluential. I am so excited about this upcoming trip. I will post more about it soon.

2. I am THANKFUL for my baby girl,Cadence. She is a gymnast and definitely keeps me on my toes. She is also my biggest cheerleader.

3. I am THANKFUL for recipes that include real foods but have next to no calories. (0 on weight watchers pint scale.
Mix 1 box reg cake mix (any flavor) with 1 box of angel food cake in container.
When you want a quick snack. Mix 3 tbsp of mix with 2 tbsp of water. Microwave 1 minute.
Add small spoonful of vanilla greek yogurt (I prefer Cabot)
Top with a few dark chocolate chips or fruit.
So good and crazy good!

4. I m THANKFUL that my baby boy is really loving football. All 3 of my kids are in some type of sport. I am a firm believer that ever child should do some type of sport as a young child. It helps build their self esteem and to learn discipline.

5. I am THANKFUL for my oldest son, Peyton. He is becoming such a young man. He is a fantastic soccer player and he can roll sushi as good as me:) Now if  can only get him to fold those clothes, lol!

6. I am also THANKFUL for all my readers and friends that I have, you guys rock. Thanks for supporting me these past couple of weeks. I have really been mentally down do to this injury I have had. But I am back and ready to do this.

QOTD: What are you THANKFUL for?
