Running in a Santa suit, YES Please!

I am leaving for Baton Rouge in the morning with Mindy, Melanie, and Shannon. We are heading to the Woman's Half Marathon weekend and we are so excited!
First let me tell you what we are doing on Saturday...
or I'll show you...
Yep, that's right, we are dressing up as everyones favorite person in a red suit and running a race.
I am so flippin' excited!
AND yes, I will recreate that picture tomorrow, stay tuned!

Just so happens the day before the Woman's Half Marathon is the 62nd annual Cortana Kiwanas Christmas Parade and we will be heading the parade along with a bunch of other Santa's as we stroll down the street.
A little about the parade...
The Annual Baton Rouge Christmas Parade has rolled through Downtown every year since 1950. It's a holiday tradition in Baton Rouge and serves as the official welcome parade for Santa Claus.

Every year tens of thousands of people line the parade route and thousands more watch the parade on television. The Cortana Kiwanis Christmas Parade is a largest and longest running parade in the Greater Baton Rouge Metro Region.

Its very exciting and something I have yet to do. #bucketlist

On Saturday we are running the Woman's Half Marathon
I am so excited to be lining up at the start line for this fantastic race. If you live in the area, come out and support all the ladies running.
I hope to see ya there and come run with me!
