I had the opportunity to try out the new Iphone ap Yiftee-Local gifts, On-the-Go.
Yiftee is a free ap available on your Iphone that allows you to send gifts to anyone in the U.S with just a click of a button. I sent my mother n law in Phoenix AZ a $10 Target card with the message Merry Christmas, and a minute later she was able to download it straight to her phone. The Yiftee gift comes in the form of an online MasterCard which you show the cashier right from your phone and it can be used right then. I also redeemed a Yiftee gift myself to Starbucks and was able to use it with no problems. I think this is a great way to send a special gift straight to someones phone or email that can be redeemed right then. I have been known to forget about mailing a gift out. Yikes!
