Colorado #FitTrip first day and sledding...

I'M BACKKKKK!

It has been a world wind of a #FitTrip week. Thanks to all that made it happen. We had an absolutely amazing time and cannot wait to attend the summer Colorado FitTrip soon.

So I wanted to tell you guys how absolutely amazing Keystone and Loveland Colorado is. This was just driving up to the mountain. How breathtaking is that?

We drove into Keystone on Friday and checked in to the Comfort Suites in Dillon Co. We stayed here last year during our FitTrip and it has was def our first choice again for this year.

The views from the hotel are spectacular. This picture was taken from our hotel room window...

Also they have an amazing hot tub on their back deck for all of those after ski/snowboarding muscle aches...

If you ever decide to take a trip to Keystone or Loveland, def check out the Choice Hotels Comfort Suites in Dillon, CO. It is only about a 10 minute drive to either ski mountain and totally worth it.

The first day we were there we didn't have enough time to go up to the mountain so we went over to our friend Josh's ski rental store to get our gear. Pioneer Sports is located inside the La Quinta Inn in Silverthorne CO.

One of the great things about renting equipment is that you don't have to travel with all of your gear. We brought our snowboard pants with us from Alabama and that's it. We rented jackets, skis, and snowboards directly from Pioneer for a small fee. It was great not having to pack our big ski coats in our luggage, saved a lot of room. Also you they fit the skis and boards to your feet exactly so you are guaranteed to have the most comfortable ride down the mountain. We will rent every time from now on. If your in the area, go see Josh!

We decided to purchase a sled from Josh and go check out the sledding hill that afternoon. On previous Colorado FitTrips we didn't sled, so we were excited to check it out. Of course we picked out the sled that fashionably matched. (Sorry, not sorry) LOL...

We headed to the Silverthorne Rec Centers sled hill called Rainbow Hill. It was a great community place for people to sled or for people to practice getting used to skis or snowboards...

We had a blast sledding down the hills as you can tell. We were like big kids having a blast. Of course we tried many different ways of getting down the hill. lol!

We will def be partaking in many more sledding adventures next year. I will be letting you see all of the mountain fun we had including snowboarding, skiing, and a little mountaintop tubing tomorrow, stay tuned...
