Busy, but still training!

Being busy, but still training.

Being a stay at home mom and having a husband that works a 4 day split shift, I never really know what day of the week it is, LOL.
Yesterday I had a very busy planned out day and it actually felt good to be busy.
I took my daughter to team gymnastics practice in the morning. Luckily my gym is right next door, so I was able to get in a good 90 minute workout.
I got to try out my new Saucony Kinvara 3's that I won through the Saucony Find Your Strong Project. I have been wearing the Kinvaras for about 2 yrs now. They are my favorite distance shoe.

I also was able to get a 20 minute quick run outside after leaving the gym. Look how bright my shoes are in the sun. :)
You could see me coming. I wish they would stay this clean. I also got to run in my new HeadSweats visor that I won from For The Love of The Run. Also they have a great review opportunity for any female bloggers out there to review the Instead SoftCup. They will pay your next race fee (up to $125) in exchange for the review. I will have my review up on Monday. I am excited about this opportunity. Anyways this is my new HeadSweats Visor. It is amazing at keeping the sweat off your face.
After leaving the gym, I had to go grocery shopping for my sushi rolling dinner party. We had a blast making a bunch of different sushi rolls. I think we made 15 rolls all together.
We also had these. I did substitute the butter and sugar for greek yogurt and applesauce. They were really really good.
I also have been making this delicious iced coffee. I used a tbsp of instant coffee mixed with ice and water. Then I added a 1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut milk and a tbsp of honey. It is sooooo freaking good. And of course the mason jar and hard straw makes it all the more better:)
So I hope you guys have a great weekend and look for my review on Instead SoftCup on Monday, until than stay motivated and push through:)

QOTD: What do you mix in your ice coffee?
