Trail running, its nice to change it up!

Yesterday I decided to do some trail running. Now I am not an off road runner by any means, but when I need a crosstraining day and its pretty outside, I hit the trails. One of the great things about the park I run at is that it has lots of trail runs in it.
I was excited to see that they had marked all the stumps with fluorescent paint. It makes it so much safer to run, #HAPPY!
5 miles of trail running made for some tired feet.
So that was my run yesterday. Today I went to the park for a short whatever happens run. DO you ever have those days? My shins were sore from trail running, so I decided to just run a few miles. I was happy to see a friend that is coimng back from a hamstring injury, who was running/walking, so I joined her for a couple of solid miles. It was great.
My kids and I have been loving some Special K Protein lately. It is so flipping good. If you haven't tried it you should. I just recently saw this in my local store. I add a few marshmallow bits to my kids and they love it. Mom is happy:)
