Bootie Challenge, Running in a monkey hat, and RUNEMZ!

Happy Sunday! I wanted to show you guys my super cool shirt that I got from RUNEMZ. If you don't know her, you should. She is a crazy fast runner that puts in 10, 15, 20, 50 miles on a treadmill like its nothing. AHHHHHH! #loveher
I also ran a fun local 5k at our local college called the Funky Monkey. My friend Carolyn is super cool and got us all super cool monkey hats. We had a blast and I was excited about my time of 34:08. considering I 1.HATE 5k's and 2.I am just coming off my marathon. Fun Times with great people.
Oh and the finish line had beer AND a 50ft long banana split. AHHHH! I didn't have either one because of my 40 day Paleo challenge but it was really cool to see.
So I told you guys about some challenges I was going to join. One of them being the Spring Bootie Challenge with Run to the Finish.
The Basics:
  • Earn 1 point per 10 minutes of activity
  • Earn points for eating 7-9 servings of fruits and veggies (1 point daily)
  • Free group forum
  • Meet other like minded folks to help you stay on track.
  • Receive a half marathon training plan
  • Receive a basic strength training plan
  • Win prizes!!
Here are my numbers for the week...

I also earned 7 points for drinking 64oz of water daily and 7 points for eating 7-9 Freggie servings a day. Being on a strict Paleo diet allows me to hit these numbers easily for the week.
And I earned 1 point for sharing the challenge with you guys.
All these added together gave me a total of 92 points for the week. I am excited to continue this challenge for the next 6 weeks.

I hope you guys had a healthy week and a great weekend. I'm off to dinner with some great friends. I have some winner announcements tomorrow. Stay Tuned.
