Love to run? Too busy to race? Check this out...

If you love to run, but just cant find the time race? Or just like to challenge yourself while training for an upcoming race? Maybe you want to hit a certain distance before actually doing it in a road race?
Then I have the PERFECT thing for you...
JOST RUNNING VIRTUAL Races!

You may be wondering exactly what a virtual race may be...
"A virtual race is a race that runners, or walkers, can participate in no matter where they are located on the globe.  The way it works is that each runner registers at www.JostRunning.com, we email them a custom racing bib, he/she runs during their selected race week, emails us their finish time, and we send them a finishers medal in the mail.
What sets us apart from other virtual races is that everyone who submits a time to us will see that time represented on the results page of our website where they can check their ranking if the competition aspect is important to them, or feel a sense of community from their solo run by seeing the other runners names and times." Cynthia, founder of Jost Running

After these past 6 month of barely being able to find the time to run and definitely not racing:( I have missed it. Running a Virtual Race is just what I need to challenge myself on my time. And lets face it the majority of us girls run for the bling. Check this out...

Yep that's right you get an awesome race bib emailed to you after signing up and then you receive an absolutely gorgeous race medal. Let me tell you these medals are amazing.
What I also loved about Jost Running Virtual Races is that every race supports a great charity. Right now they have a race going called "Running is a Winter Sport" which supports the Central Virginia Food Bank. For more information and to register click the picture below.

So if you have a training run coming up or just want to challenge yourself. Better yet get a couple friends together and have a little fun running this month while helping out the
Central Virginia Food Bank.

As a Jost Running Blogger I will be running all of the races and updating you on all the ways you can make the Virtual Race work for you. Stay Tuned!

  1. I've done a few virtual races before, but I love the idea that Jost will track/post results and that the entry fees support a charity! I will definitely be checking them out!
